The Green Gulch property is a block of 66 claims that is completely surrounded by claims comprising the Kinross White Gold property. Work by Arcus to date includes auger soil sampling over the entire property in 2009, a 628 m excavator trenching program (128 samples) in 2010 and an airborne magnetometer survey in early 2011.
Assay results from a 20 m section of trench 2 (GG-10-02) yielded a weighted average grade of 0.294 g/t gold. No significant assay results were returned from any of the other three 2010 trenches. Most anomalous gold-in-soil values (53, 69 and 84 ppb gold) from the 2009 program occurred as single point anomalies and were not tested as part of the 2010 trenching program. No additional exploration targets were identified as part of the 2011 airborne magnetometer survey. Accordingly, Arcus did not include any additional work at the Green Gulch property as part of its 2011 Dawson Gold program.
